CUE Conference 2017 Program

The Conference is focused on Accelerating Progress, Accelerating Equity: Improving Student Success in Developmental and Gateway Courses. The annual CUE conference is an opportunity to share evidence-based practice across CUNY aimed at improving student success, retention and graduation, and successful transfer. The CUE Conference 2017 will focus on improving student outcomes in developmental and gateway courses, with special attention to acceleration models and the impact on advancing equity through effective models.

As co-founder of the California Acceleration Project, Katie Hern supports her state’s 113 community colleges to implement high-leverage reforms to placement and remediation that substantially increase student completion of college-level coursework and narrow racial equity gaps.
